Geocaching is described as ‘the worlds largest treasure hunt’. Armed with a GPS enabled device and a list of coordinates and clues, you set out to find caches - small containers, containing a log book and other surprises - which are hidden all around you. Some of them are quite big - others tiny. Some are easy to find, some very difficult. Non-cachers are called ‘muggles’ and you aren’t supposed to let them see what you are doing. It’s a simple game that gets you outdoors and away from screens.
