Hello. My name is Jamie Adams, and you’ve landed on my website - more specifically on the about page.

I was born in Scarborough, a small seaside town on the north east coast of the UK – and now live in Hull, a small city perched on the banks of the River Humber. I am married, have two children, an old dog, an unknown quantity of fish, a small hamster and less money in my bank account than I would like. This is my blog, and another excuse to waste time on the internet.

I’ve worked in social housing for around fifteen years - currently as a housing manager for a small charitable housing association.

There is no overriding theme or structure to this site. I’ve read that blogging is becoming fashionable again, which is kind of neat because I am the most uncool and unfashionable person that I know.

You can contact me by email, if you’d like: hello@jamiesnotes.com.

I love getting email, so don’t feel wierd about reaching out.
